    M525 59.05.50 ERROR

Working before I replaced paper feed solenoid.
I retraced my work, but what a pain. I also used component test and all but main motor is working. Tested my solenoids and they work also. Anyone ever have this?

What happens if you unplug the paper feed solenoid? Does the main drive motor spin up? It's possible that the PF solenoid has a short to the frame ground, shorting out your 24vdc. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thank you for your reply Black Cat.
Yes I actually redid the whole job looking for a short. I removed solenoid connectors and looked for a short.
I also did the component and sensor check, things that plug into the dc controller..

What wierd is that when I leave the toner cartridge out of machine and leave cartridge door open, when I turn it on it goes to that 59 error. Like it's stuck. I was going to try nv initialize and I also got me a new dc controller. I'll let you know. Thanks again!

It was the door micro switch that comes from the dc controller. When I changed the dc controller I noticed I put it in wrong. Best to remove the whole switch holder cause there i s another switch that activates at the same time when you close the toner door. Wierd that it causes this error.
