    hp m3035 scan to Email - Gateway is not responding

    Over port 587 I get "’smtp.gmail.com’ is a valid SMTP Gateway Server" in the web interface, But, when I try to scan and email on the printer, it says "E-mail Gateway is not responding". I was trying ports 465, 25 its says invalid smtp server. Trying with different DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 no success, I've enabled "SSL Support for SMTP" and I've enabled "SMTP Authentication".

    Turn on DHCP let the machine pull the network setting & try a scan again.

      Had the same problem with our 3035. The thing is just TO OLD to work correctly. Turned off all scan to E-Mail access.

        If your device or app doesn't support SSL, you can only send mail to Gmail or G Suite users. And, you'll need to use the restricted SMTP server aspmx.l.google.com.


        On your device or app, connect to the restricted SMTP server:
        Enter aspmx.l.google.com as the server address.
        In the Port field, enter 25.

            Yes only to gmail accounts

            No authentication just the sender address

              OK, I Wll try with dhcp! That's the problem, I need to send emails not only to GMAIL users!
