Re: HP DesignJet T830 - not detecting paper

I had a lot of trouble getting a printer to enter the extended support menu. You press HOME, BACK, HOME, HOME. But the trick is these touch-sensitive buttons are not illuminated so it's a bit tricky to know where to press. It also seemed like they didn't respond unless I tapped just above where the icon is on the panel. It took me way too long the last time I did it and I felt like an idiot. From top to bottom to the left of the display is HOME, HELP, and BACK. See the attachment.

You'll want to reset the PMK2 counter because otherwise it will nag you when the usage eclipses.

Tried all the solutions here but none worked. It says all sources not ready. Replaced the paper sensor but won't pull or load the roll. Won't detect from multi sheet tray either. Reseated all the cables.

Please be specific. What have you done?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If you've ruled out the sensor then you need to replace the "Bundle Board" that it plugs into.
