    Image is scanning/copying different then original

    This is a HP MP LaserJet Managed E82540dn copier. While at a customers' location they showed me output from copier and scanner (document feeder) where the image output by the copier was higher (closer to the lead edge on the main scan) and to the right (closer to the back of the copier on the sub scan). Where would I look to be able to make adjustments to the image placement/location to bring it more true to the original?


    I have looked on Google and some here on copytechnet and in the service manual, no luck yet.

      It might be helpful to know what model of HP that you are referring to. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
