Re: emery board for cleaning and restoring rollers.
The idea would be to sand off the hard outer surface that the paper is slipping on, but a negative side affect would be that the rollers are now smaller, so you get less distance from each rotation, so it's more likely to show a jam.
If you have the option of replacing those exit rollers it's a better choice. You may also try using WD40 on the old ones. It will temporarily soften up the rubber until your replacements arrive. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Re: emery board for cleaning and restoring rollers.
On my old Samsung POS I refused to spend $100 on feed rollers. WD40 treatment once a month bought me 18 months of usage. By then there were so many other issues, the feed issue wasn't my biggest concern anymore.
It honestly wasn't much of a color printer on the day it first arrived. =^..^=

Re: emery board for cleaning and restoring rollers.
I have used the Scrubs hand cleaning towels that Ricoh put in the PM kits worked nicely to get about an extra week out of rollers. Or any waterless hand cleaner with grit.
Re: emery board for cleaning and restoring rollers.
I worked for a Minuteman Press as a printer in my area for about eight years. We have a stand alone Plockmatic booklet maker. The rollers picking up sheets got really slick with wear. I used a rubber cleaner, like this, on it and on the feed rollers (when I ran out of new ones) on our Xerox Versant 80. Really helped out a lot. especially while waiting for the Xerox techs to get me feed rollers. I had used a light sand paper for troublesome instances, maybe something similar to emery boards.
