Hp designjet t830 - black ink leakage always in same point during carriage movement

hello everyone, I have the following problem with this 3 year old plotter, it practically loses/throws black ink always in the same point, even when it is only feeding paper, as long as the carriage moves even without printing, it would seem that they are activated all nozzles black, the customer has a new print head in the box, but I would like to make sure I don't open the package at all, maybe it could be something else.
the one mounted in the machine, I disassembled and cleaned it perfectly, but the defect remains.
Has this happened to anyone before?...what do you think? Thank you

*I had taken a photo, but unfortunately it's been a while since I've been able to upload these cazzo of photos in attachments here on the forum, however you can see the sheet with a 3 cm black streak

Newer phone cameras produce images too large to attach to these posts. You have a couple of choices:
    1) You can reduce the base image resolution on your camera. Unless you're blowing up the images huge, the human eye won't see a difference.
    2) You can email them to yourself. Gmail will offer you four choices: full resolution, high resolution, medium resolution, or low resolution. Medium or Low usually creates a file <1MB, just right for attaching.
    3) Or you can crop the image down.

    I used to have to do #2 & #3 ... until I discovered #1. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I would replace the printhead. You have to rule out the consumables first before throwing parts at it. Then if it still does it you can go down the route of a carriage, trailing cable, electronics module.

hi, thanks for the advice, but I couldn't find that function in gmail, however the original image is 1.1mb I managed to modify it with another software (windows 11 photo) and I brought it to 512kb

here is the ink leak always in the same place.

Friday evening between one beer and another relaxing, I had a flash, it occurred to me that it could be the black ink tube being cut, that when it passes through that point the cut opens, and the black ink drips, a a bit like what happened with the lamps of the old analogue machines of 30 years ago, when the tension cable was interrupted, the carriage moved and when the cable reached that precise point where it was broken the lamp went off for a moment...not I know if I get the idea.
However, now that I know where to look, tomorrow I will pay another visit to the customer to make sure that this is how it went, the problem with this model is that it does not have great visual accessibility

I've seen over a dozen of these printers leak black ink and it was always the printhead. It's rarely the tube assembly, especially the actual tubes. The ends are another matter.

But if you find it's not the printhead do please let us know!

Also beware that while it's leaking ink, it's likely contaminating the service station. If the service station gets enough ink in/on it, and especially the line sensor wiper, it will keep contaminating the sensor even if you clean it. It's much easier to just replace the whole service station. It's not that expensive, and by this time/amount of use, it's probably ready for it anyway.

[SOLVED] hi, you got it right... it was the head, I replaced it with a new one, and I also gave the paper presence sensor a good clean which was all messed up, and didn't recognize the sheet...
out of curiosity I collected the old head, and in the laboratory, and I disassembled it out of curiosity to understand where the leak is located, and it would seem that it is the nozzle that fits into the small tank which probably does not seal well, at least the black ink leak seems get from there.

Thank you all for your time and valuable advice.

I'm glad to hear you got it solved. But do inspect the service station. If it's a mess from the leaking black ink, it's just going to contaminate the new printhead and cause problems.

I don't know, I cleaned the station from above as best as possible with numerous rags and chante-claire, at first glance it seems ok, however the machine didn't continue for long with the defect, then it stopped due to lack of ink, maybe 1 day at most , it shouldn't have caused too many problems, thanks anyway for the advice
