    H/P color cm 6030 mfp and a 50.7 error...help me !!!

I have a customer with one of these MFP's and its showing a 50.7 error. I went on site pulled the fuser and found a split drive gear in the machine itself...not the fuser. There are two gears side by side and its the right gear thats split. Seen from looking in the printer on the right side of the machine. Looks like a 15 +/- tooth gear ...the one to its left, same shaft, is a 22t gear...I cant seem to find the gears in the parts manual...so my question is do they come with the fuser drive motor???

    Thanks
    David

I tried to post this yesterday. The part manual is real confusing.

    RC1-8925 DAMPER GEAR

    XG9-0586 BALL BEARING

    RM1-3247 ONE WAY GEAR ASSY

These are the parts that engage the fuser. You have no idea what we had to go through to get this info. The answer involved 3 different companies and 2 hours on hold with HP to confirm it. We're going to make a kit with these parts soon to help techs out.

I sent you a PM on the info. We have all 3 parts available. Just send me a PM when you finally finish the repair, cause I want to ask you some questions. We learn from each other.

Update: The kit is now available

I have a 6015 CLJ printer that appears to have the same broken gear. I pulled the fuser and removed the broken gear from the machine. It is a white plastic gear with a metal bearing type device inside it. It seems to have a part number printed on it "RC1-8922", but I can't find that part anywhere. Any ideas? Also, if anyone sells this part, I'd be happy to order it. Also, the fuser seems to be very hard to rotate. Is that why the gear broke?

            Thanks!

The kit works perfectly.....also the fuser is very hard to turn..look at the size of the press springs inside...did it break the gear...maybe but the new gear is a different color and texture of plastic...maybe stronger...but not to much as we like our repair's...keeps us off the streets!!

all of the new printers HP makes lately require fuser drive gears after a while. Ever since the 4200 series swing plate issue. Even the P4010/4015 series which has a pretty hefty looking gear, we've already been seeing some techs order them.

Because you asked specifically, you can buy this kit at TSA World. The part number is KC60XX.
