[Jamming] HP8150 jams when duplexing only

I have an 8150 that jams every time i duplex, some jams are almost all the way out of fuser and turned down into the inversion section, others are down through the throat of the duplex tray, it jams everytime i duplex never when not, i've tried a different duplex tray, also i have cleaned the fuser exit rollers and increased the pressure on the exit idle rollers

Had the fuser cause this itself.

I Agree try a fuser. I would use paper path test then you will know exactly where its jamming.

Do you hear the duplex unit kicking in? How do the rollers look in the fuser and duplex unit?

Can be:

Fuser
Duplex unit
Diverter unit
Delivery asm
PIU

The reason it's jamming is timing delay. Paper movement is not moving fast enough.

Had a field supervisor drag me along to 1 of these. He had spent 3 hours swapping everything between a good printer and the jamming printer. He just never swapped the fuser or serial number plate. Serial number plates don't cause jamming! LOL

Had same issue after installing new maint kit(remaned). Put old one back in and no problems. Good luck. Maybe manuals now can add something to this!

I installed a fuser from another machine and it works great, I appreciate the help
