HP LJ-4250 13.12.00 Only while duplexing

Single sided it works fine. Only while duplexing does it give 13.12.00; Paper has printed first side then the trail edge pops out of the delivery assembly and starts going back for second side... it stops where you can barely see trail edge in dleivery rollers. . Also it gives a buzz noise like a motor hesitating. I changed the fuser (3 different fusers), duplexor (2 different duplexers), Duplexing-pendulum assembly, delivery assembly, swing plate assembly and rear cover and still frakin jams exactly at same spot. I can go into diagnostics and set it for 1 duplex, and almost every time (Did I mention it's intermittent?)
    it gives me 13.12.00... Help!

Note: It's in the shop and thanks for any suggestions

You changed nearly everything mechanical it could be, so maybe it's electronic. Especially the buzzing noise. I would try DC controller. The only other thing it could be is power supply (connector on power supply connects DC controller to duplex unit).
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

What prntrfxr said is ringing a bell ... or it may just be tinnitus.

Anyway, I've had a power supply cause no tray lift. See below:
"Waiting for tray2 to lift." doesn't clear. Prints OK from MP tray. The 24vdc is absent @ the lift motor and engine PWB. Bad power supply. Replace power supply (RM1-1070-000).

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Found a nick or burr on the exit cover; I thought I had switched that cover but must have put the same cover back on cause it was hitting that burr intermittently only on duplex; This was a first for me....
