    [Error Code] HP LJ4100

Does anyone know if there is a reset for Error code 50.2? I have searched the manual and cannot find it. I saw Cold Reset, but I do not have the ability to print out settings. Anyway, if you do know and know where in the book, page #, I would be greatful.

Fuser error. Turn off for at least 15 minutes. If problem comes back it is probably a bad fuser.

Printers do not have reset codes, you're thinking of copiers. With a printer you have to actually fix something on the spot.

        That's correct.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

the older HP's could be turned off for 10 mins then back on and would reset "sometimes". usually that code will come back so it is best to replace the fuser
