    CX510de - white strip

    Hello,
I can not still find caution of printing white strip in black. See the attachment "testpage.pdf".
For example switching between text mode and text/picture mode during copying makes strip less or more visible.
There are new image units in the machine. I also tested them in another machine, they worked ok.
Transferbelt was changed a 4 months ago.
I also cleaned mirror and glass in laser unit.
What do you think, is it damaged laser ?
    Thank you for your advice.

sounds like you have toner clumps in the dev unit... replace dev powder or whole unit

Imaging-Developing unit is OK. I tried imaging units (all tray with all units and toners) in another machine and it worked without any problem.

Take a look at the black drum unit. I've seen a bit of foam packing get stuck in the laser path. It's not particularly noticeable until you run the test sheet. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
