    XM7355 - Intermittent email glitch

We recently received a weird complaint on an XM7355 and they sent me a video so I know it's happening as described.

Customer opens Email app, chooses name from address book, taps Add, and is returned to the original Email screen. The "To:" field is populated with selected email address from the address book. They tap Send and immediately get: "One or more email addresses is required to send an email" - as if the "To:" field is not populated. They have to exit the app and return and then it will work.

It's intermittent, and seems to have started after upgrading to latest FW. I'm suspecting it's a glitch in the latest FW, but was curious if anyone else is seeing a similar issue?
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

You might try making a new memory location for the email destination. On other Kyoceras, I've had intermittently corrupt addressbook entries that sometimes worked, sometimes didn't. I got the best results from wiping the whole addressbook and starting from scratch.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That's a good suggestion. Certainly easy enough to try. Thank you for the feedback!

update the firmware. you might also go into the app. stop it then restart it. you could also try a reboot.
