    Lexmark XM3350

New out of box Lexmark XM3350 is DOA. Any simple fixes? Maybe a fuse on the PS? Unfamiliar with this model. Most of my Lexmark experience is on the Optra series. Any thoughts appreciated. Of course the electrical supply has already been tested good.

If you cant box it up and return it, This is what I do with any issues on new equipment thats been shipped in.

Disconnect every connection in the machine, ribbon cables, power/scanner connectors etc.. reconnect them all one by one. More than likely something got bumped loose on its ride across the united states to you.

I am guessing it has zero boot up/noise/ signs of life correct?

return it to whoever you purchased it from. be mindful though, if it came from lexmark. they are gonna try to send you every part under the sun to get you to fix it.

I pulled the LVPS and checked the fuses, they had continuity. Couldn't determine from bench tests whether VDC was correct downstream from the transformers on the primary side of the PS. No O-scope This is a depot issue, it came out of the box like this and I'm in the field so I don't get a lot of time to focus on this but I plan to get back to it this coming week if people would just quit dropping staples, paper clips and chewing gum into my machines
