Konica developer DV310 needed for Biz Hub 200 (POS)

Hi guys, might anyone have a source for one??
i hate these machines. i just changed a customers drum & blade (compatible), and developer OEM for the C2557.
a month later they call for toner i sent (compatible). then next day, "we put the new toner in and got C2557".

ive had this happen in the past with another customer.

i didn't want to send generic for this reason, but the OEM wasn't available that day, and the vendor said how he has a tech that's been buying it for years, with no issues.

and in the past, i have gone out and tried for an hour to reset the counters and f8, charge up and or de tone the developer manually to get it to hopefully clear, but no.

i also wonder if the customer creates this by not changing the toner as soon as it askes for it?? but i don't know if they can open and close the door and have it continue on, then its to undertoned, maybe the new toner goes in, and it over tones and throws the code??

anyway, if anyone has a new bag of OEM developer, please let me know.

    have a nice holiday, Jim

    "I sent (compatible)"

"I just changed a customers drum & blade (compatible)"

Compatible is simply not worth the risk.

well, the drum and blade i couldn't find. the customer supplied the new developer. about a month earlier, i also had to use a generic drum and blade at another customers.

and the CQ was really dark.

do you also not recommend the generic toner??

i managed to find a developer just now. wondering if i should see if they have a OEM toner

To be honest we only use genuine toner & parts.

The majority of issues posted on here are caused by compatible parts & toner.

Before changing dev ck toner solenoid. These are old machine and the foam on them gets sticky cause toner to keep adding.

Our company solely uses OEM and the moment a Konica is on the EOL we'll service it until it needs a part/consumable that isnt available, but at 16 years old if a customer is still holding on to a machine for dear life I can see the appeal of using compatible

That being said, you should never expect anything but garbage quality when using compatible, and its troubleshooting between 3 OEM parts and a compatible your problem is always the compatible

Woxner, thank you for the info. i really appreciate it.
i forgot all about that, actually i didn't think that it had a solenoid.

is that going to be back behind the back cover??

im assuming a standard old fashioned solenoid with the plunger, not the HP style with the flapper?

              have a safe holiday.

                thanks guys.

i managed somehow to get an OEM developer and toner being sent.

i too, in the past usually always changed the developer unit every other dev change, and always used the drum unit.
                this machine is a pain.

so half a year ago, another customer needed a developer unit and drum. neither was available.
i then found the bag of developer, and only a generic drum and blade.

                the CQ was really dark.

this other customer needed the same thing a month ago, and i also changed the bag and drum and blade. it was also to dark, unless i set all the user settings all the way up, and then found "dot screen" when i changed that to "text" it looked normal.

so, as i told these people, start looking.
actually i told them that last service.

the other customer i sold them a new box, and they had it fixed for another office.

i will go out next week, cross my fingers, as i always do with the C2557 code.

have a fun and safe holiday.
