          Thanks blackcat4866, but I need pictures as well. I have a broken gear in the paper feed section that I need to identify.

              I had to give up my fiche when I left the Canon dealer.

              I'm curious, what gear?
              I've worked on these ADFs for lots of years and only replaced the one-way gear. If you're talking about the one-way gear, it's on the list.
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

                  I didn't strip the document feeder down enough to get a good look at the gear. I took a photo of it and was going to check it against a parts manual. But I mistakenly deleted the picture.

                  I have taken your advise and ordered the one-way gear from your list.
