The Sharp supply number is AR-703FU1. Order it from supply instead of parts. It is a lot cheeper -

Sharp dealers purchase supplies from one link, and parts from a different link. Sometimes individual items appear on both. In those cases the supply side is almost always less expensive.
If you didn't understand the answer you're probably not a sharp dealer, and won't have that option. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Can anyone tell me: Is the AR-703RC (felt cleaning roller) supposed to be an improvement upon the 700RC oil roller? Can I put the AR-703CR felt roller in my AR-M550U fuser unit? How can I tell if I have a modified fuser or an old model? I also need to replace the 700RC flimsy metal mesh cleaning sheet ("cheese grate"), but it doesn't come with the 703RC kit. Do I really need it? Thanks!Comment

I can't answer all your questions, but I'll answer the ones I can.
The cheese grater appears only on the earliest incarnations of the fuser. It has been removed entirely. There have been 3 or more versions of this fuser. That's why it's best to get the assembly. Not only do you not have to spend the labor to rebuild your obsolete unit, of which many of the parts won't fit, but also you do not have to figure out which parts will fit which version. The latest version has a web in it.

Thanks, Blackcat, for letting me know about the difference, but I just spent $300 on new rollers... I need to make do with this old fuser. I'll go ahead and try the 703RC and forego the cheese grater. Thanks!Comment
