Scan error bizhub 454

I get this error when ever I try a smb scan don't know what could be the problem as I have setup another with same smb settings...

what op system are you using ip or computer name. may need soft sw 162 set to hex 2 if using name or firmware update

E series or non e series ?

Welcome to the hell on earth that will be the 50 billion calls for "cant scan to smb anymore" as SMB v1 gets disabled on servers.

Will check which version I'm on so will an updated firmware fix the problem?

maybe but like i said need to know if its ip or name in which case firmware will work with the soft sw i mention. smb2 /3 can be used

Did you setup & connect a computer directly to the copier and try to scan to it? This will eliminate the network for troubleshooting.

in admin mode turn on network errors to display.
report back the actual error code in the job log.

if you are scanning by IP, can you ping the server or workstation from the copier?
ping is in networking under

Network Settings-Detail Settings-PING Confirmation otherwise it may be SMB ver 1 is disabled as mentioned above.
