    [Misc] Develop 450i Function Code For Airprint 2.1

    Hello,
    I have a develop ineo+ 450i, i have updated to the latest firmware version KJ.

    When trying to activate Airprint 2.1 with the function code K9WVG9TXQ8F6D9TRWWPVWYD4M4M8QVC6. I get an error that says, "Failed to Enable. Check the Function Code."

    I have also tried the function codes for Konica and Olivetti machines and get the same error.
    I cant find anything relating to this issue on the KNova or Olivetti sites. has anyone else encountered this issue?

              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.

                  Air print is a network protocol, it does not need to be enabled with any kind of function code. What you have is a license code for an LK of some sort. Air print is available out of the box, but might need to be enabled at the PSWC level. E

                      You might need to change your software switch 25 to hex 20
                      There's an known issue from konica related to that.

                          Airprint needs to be re-enabled with a function code when the latest firmware (KJ) is installed.
                          Apple have changed the security settings relating to Airprint and the machines need the new function code installed in order to get Airprint to work.

                                  AirPrint is not available with firmware version G00-29 ( bizhub C650i/C550i) G00-79 (bizhub C450i) function version 2.0.

                                  Root Cause
                                  Airprint Activation code has not been entered

                                  Workaround/Fix
                                  New firmware will be released addressing this issue. Until new firmware is made available, please enter the function codes listed below for the corresponding MFP to activate AirPrint.

                                  AirPrint version 2.1 is not available after installing firmware G00-K8 function version 2.2.

                                  Solution
                                  CAUSE: Certificate is required for Airprint version 2.1

                                  SOLUTION: Please refer to the workaround below.
                                  1. Downgrade function version for G00-K8 to 2.1 by setting software switch 25 to Hex 20
                                  or
                                  2. Downgrade firmware version to G00-J9 function version 2.1
                                  Note: Once KMI (Konica Minolta Incorporated) obtains the certificate for AirPrint2.1, we will provide activation code to use AirPrint2.1.

                                      KMI has got the certificate for Airprint 2.1

                                      It is possible to set Function version 2.2 (HEX 30) with the right license code.

                                          Procedure that works

                                          1. Upgrade to K8.
                                          2. SS25 > HEX30. Restart.
                                          3. [Utility] > [Administrator] > [Maintenance] > [Authorization function Setting]:[Install License]
                                          Now You have AirPrint v2.1 in Network Menu.
                                          Another way to confirm AirPrint availability - [Utility] - [Device Information] - [Auth. function list display].
