    FS534 finisher with error C1102

    Hello,

One C754e installed with FS534 that always show C1102 code.
I checked clock disk, connectors, actuators, motor, and reset by opened and closed lower front door but no luck. I slightly turned clock disk a little and reset one more time the machine can work. After half day or another day the error code displayed again, did same action can work again......
It cause by the motor or other else?

Just my thought here, but if you can move it a little bit and it will work again for a period of time, I would guess that there is a dead spot in the drive motor. When it happens to stop in that particular location, the motor can't start again from the dead spot. If you have another finisher you could temporarily grab a motor from, you could confirm if this is the case.

Also check the pulse wheels for the eject section. I've had C-1102 code appear because the elevator tray was interrupted in the process of homing out. Here's the database entry:

"An internal error has occurred. Error will clear automatically." C1102 is stored but not displayed, FS-534. C1102 = elevator tray does not move, but goes into C1105 when eject belt motor is tested in service mode. Pulse wheel on the eject belt motor is broken. Replace clock pulse wheel new style (A87H PP74 00) and eject belt motor new style (A87G PP15 00). If enough of the snaps remain, sometimes it can be secured with 3 or 4 turns of copper wire twisted tight. Perform System Error Clear.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The clock pulse wheel can break and not spin with the motor. May require some exploratory surgery.
