BizHub C450i scan settings

Not sure if I posted about this before but still having an issue. When scanning a large amount of originals message comes up "job has been deleted due to insufficient memory".

I'm sure it has to do with not being set to compact pdf but it will not let you to select "compact PDF" when set to B&W. Many of the original are printed on blue paper and why customer wants to scan in B&W. Resolution is set to 200dpi

i serviced a school system that loved blue paper. i had to set background removal to -4 on all the machines.

Thanks will keep that in mind. Any idea why compact PDF can't be selected when scanning B&W?

B&W is already pretty compact, being 8 bits per pixel max as opposed to 24 for full color. If it's true B&W, not gray scale, that goes down to 1 BPP.

is this scan to email smb or ftp. you can set the binary to 15 and when it hits that it divides it into another email. smb and ftp has no real limits.
compact pdf only does gray scale for blk. its still blk. but yeah set the background removal.
