    Compressed Air

    Hi,

Was wondering where you guys get your canned air from? Recently it has been harder and harder to find locally at a reasonable cost. What brand/s do you like best? And where do you buy from?

And bonus question, did anyone tried an electric air duster and is it compact enough to carry in the toolbag ?

      Image Supply Service

      6000SP 10oz.

We have been using this product for years.

A big NO to the electric duster we tried. Very loud.

Where is that location? On the Mars?
        It's simple supply.

More than the toner vacuum ?
If I could simply plug it in my trunk to recharge instead of tracking each time how many cans are left ...

            Air with refrigerant? NEVER.

I've frozen too many sensors. The refillable bottles that can be filled with a compressor are better, silent, and never froze a sensor. Next choice: blower brush. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
            1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
            2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
            3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
            4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
            5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I like the idea. Only $20 US on Amazon.

I've tried those refillable air bottle and they are good for some light dust but not much more. Nothing better in my opinion then good old canned "compressed" air. There are some cheap compressed air that produce ice even when not tilted. They all produce ice when can is turned upside down, that's just the nature of compressed air. Best I've found is Stoner Gust and Uline canned air. A little pricey but a valueable "tool" which I use almost every service call.

Good advice. Fortunately using canned air helps me limit using the vac. I've probably only used the vac about 2 times in last year. Not saying only the canned air helps with not using vac, mostly because the new machines run so much cleaner.

What I meant was the Kon/Min new style models from last 10 years don't need much vacumming. "4" series to present

Same for Sharp, the CR4 CR5 series are really clean, I don't use the vacuum a lot now.
