C2060l Jam relase knob rotating freely

Hey guys, today i had customer complaining jam relase knob rotating freely without rotating fuser belt and fuser rollers.
Besides that fuser works ok during printing, it just can not be turned by hand if paper jam in fuser.
I had that problem years ago on C1060l and i can not find now in my documentation what specific gear was culprit in that time.
Customer is not really close to me and i should drive few hours just to see what gear i need to order so if somebody had this issue and know which gear is culprit in this case, that would be helpful.
If i remember good, that problematic gear is not scheduled for replacement in periodic maintenance.

Sounds like a one-way bearing that is gone, slipping or installed backwards. Could be in the hub of a gear. On the b/w machines the one way bearing is in the knob itself.
    Whatever

There is a tabbed gear on one of the fuser belt rollers. The tab shears off. Very common issue. It only effect the jam release knob.
Once it breaks it will likely need all three common to fail gears in the fuser.

I've changed quite a lot of those gears on the front of the foam roller. When you are changing the foam roller or have it apart, it is possible to install the foam roller backwards. The gear at the rear is slightly wider than the gear at the front, and they are not interchangeable (unless you do some Dremel work, and I've had to when I ordered the wrong one).

So just be aware, when it's apart the narrower black gear is towards the front, wider white gear towards the rear. The consequence is that the foam roller bearings fall out of the frame, and you lose fuser pressure at front, or rear, or both. And the wider gear tries to rub it's way through the metal frame. It will after long enough.

The gears at the rear will eventually show wear when you near 2M. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: C2060l Jam relase ручка вращается свободно

The arrow on the green handle points in the wrong direction so users break the gear. On the first c1060 this arrow pointed in both directions, then information appeared that it could only be rotated in one direction. On the c2060, the arrow was already directed only in one direction, but in the wrong direction. and this continues to this day.

Thanks guys, now i remember those gears and i ordered it.
              @zayonc
Regarding rotating knob in both directions, i remember from older series C6501, c6000,... you can rotate knob in one direction to eject jamed paper and in other knob rotating direction fusing doing retraction operation of fuser belt and lower roller.
That is not the case on C1060l, C2060l if i understand you good?
I rotating that knob many times but my brain can not recall how it works but i think it is rotating in both ways.

6500/6000 series used 3 one way gears to allow fuser drive when the motor spins one direction, and fusing belt pressure adjustment in the reverse direction. It was a terrible design and was ditched for the 1060 series and up.

The fuser knob on the C1060 is connected to the belt roller through fixed gears. You can technically turn it both directions but it will fight you in reverse.
