"Clear memory"...not a good idea. (As you now know.)

Pull out the copier's factory birth certificate and go into the Service Mode and start entering the factory settings listed on it. Lesson learned?

You had to first inform yourself (also here in CTN) about memory cleaning, you had to print that certificate first. How did you do the color alignment?

More often than not clearing engine memory the registration will be too far off for that to correct it. FYI, memory All Clear will clear engine memory. If you do not have the Birth Certificate, a printout that of all final factory settings made ro adjust a machine that is sent with every new machine, or a recent Non Default printout you now have a few hours of manual adjustments to do in order to get dot positions and mirror tilts to where automatic adjustments will be able to pull registration back in.

an attempt is to clean the ID sensors, update the fw and repeat the forced alignment

you machine it out registration, first to attempt to apply any thing of reset, i suggest to you of check, the free rotation of yellow pcdu, that looking your attachment seem the l'only out registration, try to rotate with hand, and check if its more hard respect to others

Have you ever read the portion of the service manual that describes Forced Line Position? Mode C is a rough adjustment. It is always ran before either Mode A or Mode B. Mode B is the fine adjustment. Mode A executes Mode B twice. On models that have Mode D, is does both rough and fine adjustment.

if you have a scan to email issue why would you even do a memory clear? why wouldn't you just go into the webpage for the copier? unless there was an admin password you are trying to bypass? i wouldn't think you would need into the sc modes to make changes to the scan settings.
