Try lower temperature, turn on decurl. Didn't help much.

I have had a couple of lease returns of these series that I removed the finisher from and it would do this.
Apparently when a finisher is installed it uses a different set of exit rollers.
Possible that is what you are experiencing?

For the internal finisher the paper enters the finisher through what is the duplex turn around roller for operation with no finisher. On one of the first models to have an internal finisher I had to replace the sensor. The Ricoh help desk said they were getting a lot of calls for that sensor. They gave me a different part number to order. Apparently the turn around sensor didn't have as tight a Hysteresis factor and didn't respond as fast as the original exit sensor.

Try open and test a fresh realm of paper from your own stock. This looks like an issue with paper quality or room/enviroment climatic conditions (leading to damp paper).

the exit roller must have the shape in the photo, if straight ones are not good, they are for the finisher, and cause that problem.

If you turn the paper upside down, do you have the same problem? What happed if you try SEF feed? Or as Gift and Codex suggested, try fresh paper.

    • the phenomenon in which the value of a physical property lags behind changes in the effect causing it, as for instance when magnetic induction lags behind the magnetizing force.
