As the world awaits developments in Tuesday’s attack on the United States embassy in Baghdad, it’s taken less than a day for the country’s latest crisis to reach back to Barack Obama.
While hundreds of Iranian-back militia members swarmed the sprawling embassy grounds, according to The Washington Post, several faces stood out as being particularly influential in the troubled country.

But one of the leaders, according to Breitbart, was more than just a familiar face in Baghdad power circles – he’d also reportedly been a guest of the Obama White House in 2011.
The man is Hadi al-Amiri, a former Iraqi transportation minister who now heads the Badr Organization, one of the most powerful of Iraq’s numerous armed militia groups, according to The Post.
And virtually nothing about his past indicates he’s anything but an enemy of the United States.

As 2019 drew to a close, many Americans looked back on the year and the past decade and ran through their accomplishments and things they hope to improve in the 2020s. President Trump apparently did at least the first half of that exercise, tweeting a few hours before midnight on New Year's Eve that one of his "greatest honors" was "to have gotten CHOICE approved for our great Veterans. Others have tried for decades, and failed!" Maybe others failed, but former President Barack Obama did not — he signed the Veterans Choice Act into law in 2014.


What's more, the law was written by the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a frequent Trump critic, and current 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

Trump has been making this same false claim for months. In its fact-check from May, The Associated Press notes that "Trump did expand eligibility for the program," allowing veterans to opt for a private doctor if the VA wait was more than 20 days (28 days for specialists), not 30 days as under the Sanders-McCain bill, or they had to drive more than 30 minutes to a VA facility, not 40 miles. And VA Secretary Robert Wilkie — who also falsely claimed credit for changes implemented under Obama, AP notes — acknowledged that full implementation of the expanded Choice program won't happen for "years." Maybe by that point, the next president can take an undeserved victory lap.

All that is great, but he would have people believe he created the whole system. All he had to say is that it has been altered to make it more efficient. But no, he has to pretend it was all his doing. And people defend this constant need for lying and taking credit for others accomplishments.
Credit is due for making this system more user friendly, sure.

OK... SO is she willing to give up her body guard's that CONCEAL CARRY?
I do. I passed the test rather easily. I have taken instruction from military pistol and rifle trainers. I train 3-5 times a week.
Why shouldn't have the right to defend?
The folks in the TX church all were CC, a few were identified by Church Security shirts.
In NC about 5 years back, there were 3 churchs involved in attacks. Only 1 suffered any loss of blood/life. In the other 2, the intruder bolted when confronted, the other one was surprised.. tried to draw.. it was an off duty HP... hd didn't make to the bambalance before passing on. The EMT and LEO station was 2 blocks away. EMT were washing the truck.. heard yhe shots and were in the truck n gone.

I was a single in my CCW class
Blew thru book in 1.5hr law..pratical..unloaded weapon handle.. field strip/reassm..
Then we spent 3hr on range.. 110rnd.
Went back in and watched tape of it.. tips to improve.
Never been to indoor range. With my yard and no one around I have several stations set up. Rifle..pistol..duck n shoot pistol.. moving/swinging pistol .
Hell I could hunt: deer..squirrel..rabbit on my own yard!

They would rather have this murderous general “not killed”, and have America not take decisive action against imminent threats.
