Yamiche Alcindor tells Joy Reid about how she pressed Trump on why he dismantled an Obama-era White House pandemic office and Trump said he knew nothing about it: "If he isn't telling the truth...then you have a president who is just saying, 'Well I'm completely aloof and don't want any responsibility for this pandemic.'"

No. Vaccines against pneumonia, such as pneumococcal vaccine and Haemophilus influenza type B (Hib) vaccine, do not provide protection against the new coronavirus.

The virus is so new and different that it needs its own vaccine. Researchers are trying to develop a vaccine against 2019-nCoV, and WHO is supporting their efforts.

Although these vaccines are not effective against 2019-nCoV, vaccination against respiratory illnesses is highly recommended to protect your health."

They are working on it, its very good thing, hoping for breakthrough soon.
A vaccine for coronavirus has existed for years. It has been adjusted to be specific for CoVID-19 and is in testing. Human coronaviruses were first identified in the mid-1960s. The best-known Conoaviruses are Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV) and the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Yes, Corona Virus is a generic term. It is the strain of Corona Virus known officially as Covid-19 that has no vaccine ready for deployment no earlier than one year from now.

For some reason I can't comprehend Slim and Phil are perpetuating a lie about a working vaccine for Covid-19.
As far as I know there aren't even vaccines for SARS and MERS.

Phase 1 trial, yes we know about that.

                        Starts at 1:15

I didn't appreciate her final remark. Those were deadly because nothing was done.

Yea sad to see this predatory behavior where we are suppose to support each other.
This whole thing smells fishy. Almost sure its by design now.

The following is an email sent to its members by AMAC, Association of Mature American Citizens:

                                COVID-19: Important Information for

                                AMAC Members on Medicare
The health and safety of our members is our greatest concern as cases
of 2019 novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to rise. Older adults, and

those specifically with diabetes, heart, lung or kidney disease may be
twice as likely to have serious COVID-19 illness. As such, most people
on Medicare will naturally be at a higher risk.

The CDC is asking anyone with symptoms to call their health care
provider or local health department for guidance before seeking care to
                                avoid spreading germs to others.

However, if you develop emergency warning signs - pain or pressure in
the chest, disorientation or confusion, a blue tint in your face or lips, or
difficulty breathing or shortness of breath - seek medical attention
                                immediately.

If your doctor suspects COVID-19, Medicare will cover the following
                                related needs:
Medicare covers the lab tests for COVID-19. You will pay no out of
                                pocket costs.
Medicare covers all medically necessary hospitalizations. This includes if
you're diagnosed with COVID-19 and might otherwise have been
discharged from the hospital after an inpatient stay, but instead you need
to stay in the hospital under quarantine.
There is currently no vaccine for COVID-19. However, if one becomes
available, it will be covered by all Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part
                                D).
If you have a Medicare Advantage Plan, you have access to these same
benefits. Medicare allows these plans to waive cost-sharing for
COVID-19 lab tests. Many plans now offer additional telehealth benefits.
If you have questions about your Medicare coverage and costs, call us at
800-334-9330 for assistance. You may also click here to request a call
from us at a time that is convenient for you.
AMAC is committed to making sure you have all the information you
need to be prepared in the event of an outbreak in your community.
