I'm more of a "I don't think everything happened by accident, but I don't believe there is some guy looking down on us and judging" kind of guy.

fair enough. agnostic is the term i guess. I truly believe God made the universe and that he cares about what happens to his creation. I wouldn't understand how an omnipotent being could make something this amazing and then just walk away. It is obvious he doesn't show himself physically. But as lesser more finite beings we are instructed to trust and have faith.

you weren't there so all we can base it upon is the evidence in front of us. speculating literal billions of years ago doesn't seem like good science. There is no evidence of this theory. Just speculation so extreme its as good as religion

I believe there is intelligent design in how everything works so well. Except when men get involved.
I do not believe in an almighty being attempting to run things and demanding our servitude. I believe that was made up by people to control other people.
I do not mean any offense to you by saying this, it is just what I believe.

I agree that a lot of religion is used for peoples power. But who benefits from following the Bible? Its whole purpose is to show us how to glorify God and to love and obey him. Everyone gives up something in order to follow him. You aren't making less of a sacrifice by being a man, women, black, white, etc. The first step is understanding that there is a perfect standard that we all fall short of. Would you agree that there is something that is absolutely wrong?

This is a prime example of why copier addict doesn't like to answer questions. In one breath he says that he doesn't believe in God and in the next claims that an intelligent entity is responsible for The Big Bang and everything else. At best, this takes the same Leap of Faith as believing in a God. It's not supported by science. At all.

So, let's say there is a one God. Who gets to interpret him/her? How do you know what that one God said to this interpreter is being interpreted correctly?
