Re: Need help please noise comming from doc feed
Reminds me of one of our accounts...small print shop, the owner is a greyhound racer and saves retired dogs (which I applaud her for). To get to the machine you have to navigate through 6-8 retired hounds, some are friendly, some are skittish, so every time you move you either have a dog running away from you, or coming over to get a quick pet. Also 2 cats that seem to want their share of attention just when you've set those 1/2 dozen screws down on the counter and they are up and kicking things around. Every call is 30 min of removing animal hair and dander. And the owner is no help, she just sits there and marvels about how wonderful her animals are. When you leave, it's the same obstacle course of dogs and cats, and another 10 min of removing hair from every orifice and clothes. At least they aren't barking the entire time, that would drive me nuts. EmujoIf you don't see your question answered in the forum, please don't think it's OK to PM me for a personal reply...I do not give out firmware and/or manuals.Comment

It sounds fine to me. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Need help please noise comming from doc feed
We have a customer that does accounting in her home. She has a Ld016, and about 6 huge house cats. I had a call for document feeder jamming. One of the cats was on top of the adf. I lifted the cats rear up, put some papers in and they fed. i told the lady that her problem was that she must have been putting the documents on top of the cat instead of under it. She was amused, however the cat was not when I moved him to an Epson printer while I changed rollers. The greatest enemy of knowledge isn't ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.
