    New to the copier game

    Hi everyone.
I signed up because I begun working as a service tech for an office equipment company about 3 months ago. While I'm fairly good at looking things up in the manuals and figuring things out on my own this sites been helpful via threads popping up in search results and im sure to have some questions for those more experienced in the near future.
I'm not entirely green as I worked as a field tech on retail and financial pos systems/atms, pc repair and network tech previously.
All of the aforementioned has helped and I'm rather enjoying working on these machines.
I look forward to learning more!

Welcome to the business, lots of good advice around here so dont be afraid to ask questions. Advice: include model numbers, specific error, and jam codes in you questions and you'll get tons of help.

          Welcome! =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

            Welcome.
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.

The members that have posted in this thread are being modest. lol

This is the best place in the world to find solutions to your MFP/Printer issue. If you don't find the answer here, chances are you won't find it anywhere.

                Welcome aboard.

If all else fails read the Service Manual!

If that fails, meet me at the pub and we will discuss it.
