Can anyone advise me on the best way to replace the paper exit roller (shaft with 6 rubber rollers just left of heat fuser) Photo attached?canon delivery roillers.jpg

1. Do you have the new exit roller itself?
2. If you have the shaft roller,pull out unit 1,at the exit there is a metal plate attached with 2 screws one on either side unscrew to detach the plate and remove the circlip to remove the shaft.

Is it jamming? One way gear ok? or is it tearing Legal? Common on these

Remove external delivery assembly and metal plate below it. Then remove c clip from front of shaft. remove washer and bearing, slide the shaft to the rear, switch remaining parts to new shaft and reassemble. Very easy job.
