What is the jam code you are getting? In the samples you gave I assume that the margin is changing from top to bottom (front to rear frame). Are these single sided?

The jam code is 10B. The copies are double sided copies. the picture shows the back side of the copies of different pages.

If double sided meaning dulplex. Try go to service mode, Adjust then Feed_Adj then Reg_ref... change or adjust figures up to -50.

Your samples are confusing...how about a picture of the copies laid out separately with the brown of the table all the way around the copy. Indicate the LEAD EDGE of the copy and show entire copy. Looks like lead edge straight trail edge skewing? Probably bent registration guide or sheet metal . Is the fuser entrance guide free of toner? If is dirty will transfer first half of copy straight then go crooked entering fuser causing trail edge to go crooked. Make copies for samples using a test pattern.

i have already adjusted the feed_adj to -70 and ref adj to -10. it adjust the marging level but when running 1000 copies the problem comes. especially when printing from mailbox.

Right now, I have more questions than answers.

I take it that the paper skew is occurring on 2nd side of duplex only, intermittently, infrequently. Is any or all of this true? Are any of these skewed images on first sides? Is it more commonly on one size paper or from one particular tray?

I haven't worked on that particular Canon, but the implication here is that the duplex tray side guides are obstructing or not aligning the paper before the second side is fed. Also paper curl may be an issue. Are you noticing extreme curling of the paper, exaggerated by duplexing?

              Just my 2 cents... =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

if as you say only on second side then I would be looking at the reverse roller, under the plastic guide. also check the guide...is it warped? (FF9-1910-020) To check the reverse roller take a piece of 11x17 or eqiv. manually place it in the nip of the reverse roller and then turn the green knob to feed it in on top of the duplex tray as it would when working. Does it feed in straight? Does the paper skew to the right or left? If it is straight then it is ok. Now after you fed it in to the point where the trail edge is in the nip of the reverse roller, feed it backwards again. Does it hit the reverse purple looking guide. The big one on top of the reverse roller? Another thing to check is the flapper(deflector FB4-2135-000) that guides it in the top or back to the bottom of the duplex tray. Does it move freely. Lube each end with light oil. Now another thing for you to check is the horizontal registration motor and gear slide the motor FH6-1542-000. See if it moves back and forth freely. Also look very closely for a small piece of paper in the paper path you cant see until you look closely inbetween the gudes etc. Check the spring loaded pressure devices that are in the vertical path from the fixing unit to the duplexer. That should give you a start.

If it is only occurring on duplex then another thing to check is the tabs on the duplex cover. They can get cracked or broken. When you pull out the duplexer they are on the right side. Because your copies are cut off, I would go after the alignment tab on the bottom of the duplex unit. Pull the duplexer right out of the machine, flip it over and have a look at the track. There could be paper stuck in there as previously posted. (very common) Your jam code is delay at internal delivery sensor PS9. I would check the operation of the little white arm on the rear frame side (right after the fuser) It actuates the turn gate. It can get sticky. Also make sure the rails are tight for the duplex and the bed and always check those connectors for paper scraps! I would replace the guide above the reversing rollers anyway. They get warped from the fuser heat. You can check it easily by pushing the black gate up against it, If there is any gap in the middle it is warped. If you run single sided copies do you have any issues? If so, does this happen from more than one paper deck? What are the error codes in the error history? These are questions that I would need answered before I could provide more input.

Check the duplex/reverse delivery flapper for paper cuts in them...the little white fingers also. They are known for getting paper cuts in them....sand the cuts out...if the problem is on 2nd side or first side when making more than 1 copy(reverse delivery when more than 1)...i know what you mean mtech...not enough clear information

The paper misfedding is happened only in second side of the copies. The picture i have posted is pictures of the second side of the copies taken in A4 not A4R this are leading edges of the copies.

I have checked the reversing mechanism , i put a sheet of paper and rotate the knob to feed the paper in forward then move the flapper up and rotate the knob to feed the paper in to the duplexer. when the paper touch the white roller in the u turn the paper is moving hard. the paper is not feeding smoothly in the u turn. i have lubricate the roller (still not moving freely)then checked by taking copies there are some copies with misfeeded margine. the paper jam is reduced. i canot figure out the problem. since i did not worked in this model i cannot explain briefly about the problem.

I think there may be no problem with the reversal mechanism. It ay be the Problem with the Horizontal registration. I cannot figure out the problem. I recently change the HDD and put the firmware into it it may problem with the Firmware.
