im trying to network one of my irc 3200 but when the C1 starts up, and i hit the installation button it says ethernet board not configured, anyone know what i can do?

There should be a Run setup tab when you start to set up the C1.

I gave her that already Teckat. She's looking for a easy way to fix her problems.

Diagnostics
Continue Boot
Installation
Clear server
Version Info


Then I hit installation and i get a screen that shows

Parallel port
Network
USP

Then i hit the network and i get a screen that says " Ethernet interface is not configured"

Check to see if the dip switches are in download mode.

If anything , you should continue to boot.

I believe that installation tab is for reloading process.

It probably has no firmware or is currupted.

This is not where you configure network settings.

Call for service again.

If this is the C1 that had the HDD replaced or was missing - it has no Firmware loaded on it !!

As buzz light year will say... booyah!!! The HDD is empty.

I took the cables off and reinstalled, notice the ethernet board seemed loose the two little screws were missing, reinstalled and then it booted up normal into setup, and it let me continue with setup, instead of previous error "Ethernet device not configured"

all looks fine prints from network fine, thanks for your input appreciate it.
