Charm, may I ask why you shouldn't use the various drivers on non or fiery machines? Myself and two others that I know locally use both drivers, based on desired output.
Sometimes a job just doesn't look right, and printing from the regular c3200 driver looks better, or vice-versa, where printing through the fiery looks better.
Is it possible that when we switch back to the regular printer/driver, that we've bypassed the fiery device and gone direct? If not, then what you're saying makes sense. But if we're bypassing the fiery, does it matter?
As an example, in the previous posts you'll see where I couldn't get a full page of print using the regular driver. I used the Fiery driver on a machine where there was no fiery, and yes, the print needs some color correction, it's very heavy and dark. Is that what you're getting at? Using the regular driver the print looked better, at lest the parts of it that were there...
