There is a small disk and arm that move the blade back and forth. The plastic can wear down so the blade does not move properly and when it sits in one spot you can get build up that causes lines. We have also had some results by removing the thin piece of metal that backs the blade. It lessens the pressure. We have only had one machine that got worse after taking the blade backing out. so keep it handy and make sure it gets no dings on the edge. As a matter of fact make sure it is undamaged at this time. Dings and dents along the edge can cause lines.
Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.

may be caused by the waste toner not being moved from directly behind the drum cleaning blade to the waste toner auger because of a waste toner drive assembly failure
white gears on the front of the AP kit should rotate. If they do not the waste toner drive assembly has failed and requires replacement.

To view/ power up with door keyed open/remove the purple cover that is in front of the AP kit/ view gear rotation during printing

Make sure your drum heater is coming on. Try sliding the AP kit out after after powering down machine and touch the drum drive shaft. Clean your drum ends carefully and your developer spacers that ride on the drum. Try replacing AP kit. I don't fiddle around with these to much because they are a mess and most of the sub replacement parts don't really help. If the AP kit doesn't help, is some cases the Drum can be the cause even though you won't see anything on it. Good luck. Post results.
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...

          Waste toner drive...

Replaced a couple of those in my lifetime.

There aslo a noise associated with that type of issue.

          Hate it.
