[Dead] canon ir5020i e602-003 no Harddisk

The error code point to Harddisk fault but the machine no harddisk. How to solve.
First, screen come up with the error code. I look for H/D but non, so I reseat 2 DIMM at the DC controller and main board.
After that the screen never come on, green light is up.

How to do guru?

This model DOES have a HDD!

It's located in the left scanner section of the machine (if i'm correct) top left area.

Before replacing the hard drive try reloading the firmware.

However if now you are getting nothing on the screen after you reseated the board etc I would suggest that you left a connection off!

Try replacing the hard disk drive and downloading the system software.

oh and they decided to glue the shit out of the ide cable. You will need an oem hdd to get this puppy going. I believe these are encrypted disks and you cannot do the .ini trick to get it to write to a non oem drive like the 2200's.

try this before replacement/ a complete defrag of HDD

E602-0003:
While simultaneously holding down the 1 and 9 keys, turn on the copier's power so that the device will perform a hard disk write abort error recover session. Warning: This recovery process requires the checking of every sector of the entire HDD, and as such will take an extended period of time.

a NG at end will mean u need a new HDD
