    Printing problem.

Hi, guys need help in Minolta Bizhub 284e. The machine is newly installed more than a week but 2 days ago the user complain that the machine is not printing if the machine is in power save mode/sleep mode. They need to turn off and on the machine before the machine print the document. Yesterday i visit the location with the latest firmware but still the same problem. I'm new in KM machines, Any suggestion, thanks' in advance.

    Re: Printing problem.

First, try to change FW for SSD, I think that is GD1-A9. Try to find on Infohub.

If your problem is not resolved, change SSD Board, and put new FW G20-K1

I have the same problem, and I repair machine.

    Regards

think it's caused by power save settings, go to admin, system settings, power save settings, enter power save mode, change from "immediately" to "normal" then go to 2/2 change power consumption in sleep mode from "enabled" to "disabled"

seem to remember there was a bulletin

Get rid of that weekly timer settings too.

In tech rep mode you can enable disable sleep.
Then in admin mode turn sleep off.
I have replaced about 7 or 8 SSD boards and mfps to stop this issue.
            Good luck.
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
            The medication helps though...

Firmware GD1-K9 purports to fix this issue. Give it a try. =^..^=

I also go to service mode to enable the setting to turn off sleep mode. Then in admin setting turn off sleep mode so that now it only goes into low power mode. Set immediate to normal. Also definitely turn off weekly timer.
