    Don't think its your platen.
ADF and engine. You test print could be skewed.
Adjust you DF then run the DF setup sheet thru it.
If still you of range adjust you original stop position.
    Whatever

The front left corner of the scanner bed is likely sagging. When this happens I will remove the left scanner cover, loosen the six screws and while lifting up on the left corner, tighten the screws again.
If that is unsuccessful just grab the front left corner of the scanner bed and lift up sharply.

We used to call it the "Ricoh Bear Hug" because it was so common on Ricohs from the 90's. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Agree with the above, but sometimes ive had to adjust the scanner position on the scan cable (front only)
its a bit trial and error but eventually you can get it back to spot on.
