[Misc] Konica Minolta C654 Misfeed 72-21

Konica Minolta C654 getting Misfeed 72-21. When paper (A4 SEF) exit from the finisher tray 2. From left side doesn't come out smoothly so start getting misfeed.

    Advise please.

    Thanks

What finisher FS-535 or FS-534? If the smaller FS-534 than most common issue is a bulletin adressing cuts in plastic joggers caused by normal usage and paper cutting into plastic over time. What I'm talking about are jams from tray 2 only and can watch the paper catch and skew as it comes out getting caught on the burrs made by paper cuts. Most likely higher volume machines but I've seen it on 100k machines. Fix is to replace jogger with new style or add modified guide to exsisting jogger. I never replaced the joggers because it looked really hard to do. The kind of hard that is so involved it may never worked right. Anyway I was lucky enough to have a bunch of FS-534's to just swap out. It's the type of design flaw that will affect every FS-534 eventually, if it doesn't have the modified joggers.

The work around especially if customer doesn't staple is have everything come out top tray 1, or with C224-C554 you can have prints also come out on top of transport unit, called tray 3 which gives you 2 trays to separate faxes etc. If you eliminate tray2 and no stapling it will work good with very few issues.

Thanks for your reply. It is FS-534. Cannot switch to output tray 1. As they are printing a lot. 1 file in more than 700-800 pages.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
