    Konica Minolta C558 Color Issue

    Hi All

I am hoping someone can help me out with a Konica Minolta C558 color issue. I been struggle trying to get an idea the cause of this device. Attached is an image with line when printing. What I have done so far to try to troubleshoot the issue are 1) Do half tone test using 80 and 255 density to identify which drum/dv are the factor. 2) Replace the suspected issue Magenta DV 3) Replace Transfer Belt.

Start by cleaning the laser glass. If that doesn't fix it, I'd say you probably need to replace the magenta drum. Check out the charge roller in the drum and see if the "lines" on the pages match up with any noticeable marks on it. That will confirm if the drum is the issue of not.

I see nothing about drums. Did you change any drum to brand new OEM?

If you can post the Y-M-C-K gradation print outs here we'll be in a better position to diagnose the issue for you.

for trouble shooting you could swap yellow and magenta drum and see if symptoms change
