    BizHub C224 NON-E

    Customer moved to new office and now the IP keeps changing even though set to manual input (this is what IT guy told me). Same computers. Can scan but can't print. As title shows this is for the older C224 not the "E". It has not been upgraded to ver 7 as it was working fine at old office.

      anytime i run into crazy like that i just backup everything and do a network initialization and my best advice is to use an IP out of the DHCP range.
      We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
      The medication helps though...

          You might try using the hostname as the destination. Perhaps that won't change.

          On the other hand, there could be other explanations, like someone purposely changing the IP, or just plain false observations. =^..^=
          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  i love this shit, my Konica expert cert is for networking.
                  havent touched a machine in almost 22 months but i cant walk away.
                  thats why im here 20 times a day hoping my experience can make someones job that much easier.

                      Ok so I went out there and IP was set for auto even though their IT told me it was set to manual! I saved data, initalized network (thanks synth) and set IP for manual. All good so far.

                      What really pisses me off is their "outside" IT people told my account that it was the copiers fault because it was so old.
