    STUCK BIZHUB C364

    Hello everyone,

Hopefully this finds you all well, i have Konica Minolta bizhub c364 which boots up normally and it shows " Ready to Copy" and from there the start button (the green one) keeps flashing red and the printer doesn't respond to any command (copying, scanning or printing)

    Steps taken
    Replaced DIMM
    Replace HDD
    Updated firmware

After all these steps the printer still behave the same, the service manual showed me nothing of this sort.
Has anyone encountered or at least know about the stated phenomenon?
    Please assist.

    Kind regards,

    Ahmed Chamumi.

Hi, do you have any errors in service mode? Any ! on display?
Maybe life stop setting is kicking? Check your settings in service mode if machine is set to stop with consumables at 0%

TSB is on to something. One or more of the consumables are probably at 0%. You can go into service mode, "enhanced" security mode, turn off consumable life stop.

                  Hello everyone,

Kindly let me give you the feedback on the subject above.

                  Step taken.

                  1. I have checked for any maintenance sign on device webpage and i found nothing is beyond life span.
                  2. Changed the USB and the display cable from the working machine still didn't work
                  3. Inspected the wiring beneath the display still nada.
                  4. Replaced the HDD again from the working machine formatted it disabled then enabled again.
                  5. Logged in service mode - enhanced security selected NO STOP in case of spare part(s) expiration.

After all these suggested countermeasures still the machine hasn't responded.

But i have observed one thing when i go to service mode - state confirmation -> scanner to memory & memory -> printer non of these two seems to work, so i figured the last card up my sleeve is ruling out the MFP board is fried.

Any further suggestions if any shall be highly appreciated.

                  Best regards,

                  Ahmed Chamumi.

                      Do as Aberock wrote.
Orange Start button, no errors, copier does not respond.
Typical symptom of a break in the counter circuit.
I'm not sure about this model, because the analog counter is an additional option, so:
Check in Service Mode whether an additional counter is enabled. If so, turn it off.
Under the panel, it means: open the front cover where the toners are and next to the toners, under the panel there is a window for an additional counter or a counter is installed. It's good if you have a extra counter with a cable. If so, connect it and check.
Of course you have to remove the plastic covers to get there.

check enhanced security, make sure no vendor mode is active.
i think i have the .tar file if you want to throw the kitchen sink at it

Hello everyone, hope this finds you well, im getting back tp you with the outcome of the subject in question.

After a long back and forth i found out that an angry mouse decided to make a dinner out of a bundle of wires at an incredibly inaccessible angle...and we ended up replacing the printer.

Thanks to all of you for your valuable input.

                          Regards
