Howdy all, hoping someone can help even though I am rather inexperienced in repairs on these machines. After fixing an issue that was causing the black ink to double print, a rainbow streak started appearing on the right of items printing out after or during heavy color. It was streaking on 2-3 pages, now after replacing the toner it’s streaking on 5-8 pages. Cracking open the side panel, I found one of the components with a streak (shown below) hoping for solutions, thanks!

You can try and clean the blade of the transfer belt or replace the transfer belt assy. -

It's definitely the transfer belt, the device puts that image on the transfer bet, so it can carry out self calibration. The transfer belt cleaning blade, isn't wiping it cleanTip for the day; Treat every problem as your dog would.....If you cant eat it or f*ck it....then p*ss on it & walk away...Comment

Looks like test patterns that for some reason were not erased by a cleaning blade. I recommend removing the transfer belt and looking what is happening with the belt cleaning unit.Comment

if you are using nongenuine toners, clean out your hoppers and get a new cleaner blade for the xfer unit. this may work ,provided your developers are not already loaded with toner fused powder. (aftermarket toner melts in the developer units and ruins the actual developer powder.)Comment
