Missing "Separate Scan" Button on Konica's

    Hi all !

We're mainly a Develop dealer, but do have a lot of KM's bought in for refurbs.

Just realised (pointed out by a customer that's gone from a Develop to a KM device) that all our Develops have a "Separate Scan" shortcut on the Scanning screen but all the Konica's I've looked at do not... screen shots below from a C308 and a +308 both with same settings / firmware etc

I can't for the life of me figure out how to add it back in on a Konica.. and I'm sure it's pretty simple..... anyone have any ideas ?

    is it under application?
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

Yes, still available on both machines under applicationโ€ฆ customer wants the shortcut back on the main scan screen though.

          Very good question ๐Ÿ˜‚
I have customer with both machines and will happily report my findings once I get there.
Sure any Konica don't have it by default.
          I'm amused ๐Ÿ˜

I checked one of the C308 machines we have in our office here and it has the Separate Scan button in that location. I went through all the settings I could think of and I can't see an area where you would be able to customize what shows up on that line under the scan button.

OK, I managed to dig REALLY DEEP into things and found out how to untangle the pile of sheet that KM has created around those custom buttons on not only the scan screen, but also the Copy Screen, User Box, etc.

First off, the setting to add, remove, or modify those buttons on the scan/fax screen is located at:
UTILITY -> USER SETTINGS -> CUSTOM DISPLAY SETTINGS -> FUNCTION DISPLAY (SEND/SAVE).

                Custom Screen.jpg

But wait... If you try to go there, most likely you will not find the options to customize those buttons, because by default they are restricted and those settings do not show up.
You first need to go and allow these settings to show up in the settings menu by going to:
UTILITY -> ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS -> SYSTEM SETTINGS -> CUSTOM DISPLAY SETTINGS ->FUNCTION DISPLAY PERMISSION SETTING ->SEND/SAVE and set it to ALLOW.

If you want the ability to customize the copy screen or other areas, you might also want to ALLOW the COPY/PRINT setting.

                Custom allow restrict.jpg

Now go back to the first area in USER SETTINGS and you should be able to see the option now to allow for the customization of those button on the scan screen and set Function #7 to the Separate Scan setting that you want to show up.
