    BH-C-284e, CE password unknown

    BH-C-284e, CE password unknown.

Tried all known passwords but an IDIOT* changed the CE Password of this machine. Any workarounds please? Have too little experience with this C-XX4e generation to find a solution myself.

    Thanks

    Hans

    Use reset tool.

Just saying ... almost every time that I've used the MFP Reset Tool I've had to call the hotline for a CE password reset.

I think I only completed the process myself twice, maybe.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                  1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                  2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                  3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                  4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                  5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                    Can you imagine.........

I forgot completely the procedure and somehow all my notes and software about it are gone since one of my computers crashed and the file backup doesn't work (THANKS Acronis.....).

Have once again a BH-C-284e where I cannot enter the Service Mode cause passwords are obviously changed by he previous techs in this lease return machine. The usual 123........ and 927......... in all possible combinations and multiple entering of it are not working.

                    Any help please....

So the reset tool worked? Just so the next person knows if they have a machine with changed password to use the reset tool.
