        Good afternoon.
I've tried many ways this afternoon, but I haven't been able to access the firmware menu.
I've recorded two videos that I'm sharing.

They're longer because, as always, the FA-14 error appears, so I wanted to record it.
What am I doing wrong that keeps keeping the firmware update menu from appearing?

it appears you did everything perfectly, the next thing id check is on the side where the cables are is a usb port that says front usb stamped in the metal. unplug that and repeat the process to eliminate a cable issue.
it may be either a stick the machine doesnt like which is unfortunately common, or maybe firmware upgrades through USB are disabled in a menu somewhere. ill try to find.

Thanks so much for the help, Synthohol.
I'll look in the manual tomorrow as well, and I'll change the USB and flash drive tomorrow, and check the status of switch 25...

                Hello.
This afternoon, after several hours of testing, I managed to update the firmware.
The problem with the firmware boot menu not appearing was the flash drives. I've tried up to three different ones and thought there was something in the machine's configuration preventing it. I checked the status of switch 25 and it was B0, but in the end it was the flash drive.
I've tried the rear USB drive of the machine with no satisfactory results. A 2GB flash drive, an 8GB Kingston flash drive, and nothing worked either. In the end, a 16GB flash drive from another manufacturer worked (all formatted the same as FAT32).

The bad news is that after changing the firmware, the FA-14 defect returned. The next step would be to change the eMMC, but I'm not sure how to do it.
Even if I can get a new one, I don't know how to install the information or how to do it, since I understand that the meter information, etc., will be there. How is this change normally done?

                  Hello.
I forgot to mention that I've also disconnected the Fiery and removed its motherboard and cable from the main board.

after setting the HDD to not installed that usually helps but since yours persists id start thinking about the ssd or mfb.
just dont go swapping stuff from used machines, you will likely only make it worse.
have you tried the recovery firmware?

                        Good afternoon.
I tried the GXX-A8 recovery firmware this afternoon, but I can't get it to boot. I see that the firmware folder is FW002, and the "normal" firmware is FW005. Could it be that they're for the models you mention, but not for my C658?

                          Good morning.

Could someone please share the recovery firmware like the one used in bulletin 10072 (Recovery GXX-A8 for the C308), but for my Bizhub C658 machine (I don't know if this tool exists for my model...)

                          Thanks everyone.

                            Good morning.
Is there anyone who can share the aforementioned Gxx-A8 firmware for the C658? Is it possible to update only the data stored in the eMMC to force it to change the internal data in case it's corrupted? Thanks.
