Aftermarket feed rollers c450i

We purchased a c450i with a low page count (17k) from a wholesaler and while working it up, i noticed the former tech had replaced all the feed rollers with the ones in the attached picture. They seem to have a cross hatching pattern. Zero jams in the logs... my questions are:

1. Are these any good (somebody thought so to most likely swap them at setup)

2. Where Can you get them?

In my opinion the original rollers of the i-models go very well, and I would not risk putting competition rollers, which are usually too hard or too soft.
Those wheels you show are very likely to generate excessive noise when picking up the paper, so I do not see much sense either.
I've seen some technicians do some really crazy things like putting the first paper take-up wheel in all 3 locations, that is, as the first and second feed wheel, and as a separator.
It could be used with all types of paper, true, but they lasted very little time and the noise between them was monstrous.

Looks like rubbish the error log can be cleared you know. I wouldn't bother OEM rollers are going well and are cheap.

It seems odd that someone would replace the feed tires that early. I would be curious if this machine had the CPU board replaced at the same time as the Storage board. This will result in zeroed meters. Life counts remain unaltered. To check go into service mode - Life counts and see if the fuser count is higher than the meter.

I would have liked to try them as take up rollers in certain paper situations but honestly I never once used the right rollers. I used to carry like 60 A00J regular rollers and I'd swap the shafts or I had a zillion c clips if I broke the clip.
Those Grey finned rollers never performed as well with wb Mason than the reg orange ones.

I agree, it really doesn't make sense to have replaced the tires on a "new" machine. Personally, I would check the page count of the black developer unit as it's too easy to reset the fuser count. Honestly, the counts on all the major parts in that machine should be essentially the same; just slightly higher than the actual total page count. If it's not, I'd suspect someone did some nefarious stuff to that machine.

We used them a few times, bought them from AliExpress. Had issues with them, random jamming, they collected a lot of paper dust. Went back to OEM. Blue as sep, red as feed and tractor for pick up. Works every time.

yeah the gray clip is too flimsy and easily bent out of position causing it to come free and don't get me started on the spring loaded optical sensor in tray 1 that's blocking easy access to the roller in the newer 250i/450i etc machines 🤬🤬
