Afraid I asked this question here before, but.......

If so, cannot find the answer with the search mode and my apologies if bugging you.
    So, her once again:

Which one is the Latest & Greatest for the BH-C-284e:

    A5C10Y0-F000-G20-M1
    A5C10Y0-F000-GDR-M1 (00)
    A5C10Y0-F000-GDS-M1(00)
    A5C10Y0-F000-GDT-M1(00)
    A5C10Y0-F000-GDU-M1(00)

If going alphabetical, it should be A5C10Y0-F000-GDU-M1(00)
Correct? Or is there even newer/better?

always alphabetical progression except weird special FW, id only use special if the machine exhibited the specific symptom it was designed to fix.
you are correct sir in your hypothesis
We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.
    The medication helps though...

          Thanks guys,
          so
          A5C10Y0-F000-GDU-M1(00)
appears to be the latest, and date 4/7/2022 seems good for such an old machine 😀

i think you still have to set the bit switch (219 hex 0?) for SMB 2 scanning if needed.
someone double check my hex, im so out of practice. and ntlm 1.2 in admin.

On our machines simply installing GDU-M1 allowed SMB2 to work as long as the client settings were set correctly in Admin mode. If I recall correctly the dip switch was used to force a version of SMB.
