Hi everyone,

I hope it's okay to post this here. I'm urgently looking for the firmware A1610Y0-F000-G20-72 for a Konica Minolta bizhub C284.

I believe this version resolves some key issues, and unfortunately, I don’t have access to the official Konica Minolta FTP or service channels as an end user.

If anyone has a copy of this firmware or can point me in the right direction, I’d be extremely grateful.

I dont see G20-72 on KM site . There is a G00-72. This firmware is from 2014. The latest for a C284 is dated 1-23-23
FW A1610Y0-F000-GR7-M0.exe.
I can send any firmware you need just PM me your email and let me know which firmware you want and if its for a c284 or c284e

If your device is the C284 (non e version) you may like to try the 'version up' firmware.
This gives your C284 some functionality of the C284e, including a fix for scan to email, gmail etc.

Sounds like you are trying to get the scanning functionality of this machine to work. IF i remember correctly, there were 3 different firmwares and a software switch you needed to change.
If all you want is scanning. You can download an FTP program called "Quick n Easy FTP" its quite simple to set up and allows you to scan to a PC. I used it a lot with the 4 and 4e series machines before they got updated for scanning
