Konica Bizhub C250i Account Track Setup

I have a customer who recently purchased a Bizhub C250i to replace an older C224 and would like to set up account track like on C224. I believe I have all the correct boxes checked, and I can log in with the password, and all works well with the exception of print jobs that never come out. I can see the print job in the history but it gets deleted with an error. I did find this thread https://www.copytechnet.com/forum/te...-c450i-account. A resolution was never posted, so I'm unsure if this is a driver issue or something else? I should mention that I only loaded the common PCL driver. And one more thing, they recently updated to Windows 11.

Hi, I’ve had this a few times, especially with the newer, multi machine drivers, I think it was the machine type in the driver. In the driver properties, configure tab (I think) set the machine type to C250i, then apply. I have had to then shut the driver properties for the new machine type to take effect and then try your test print with the correct account settings, seemed to work for me. Good luck!

Even though you have the accounts on the new copier you must change the driver to match machine or it will delete the job. use the upd driver. its there for windows11

you have to set the password (pin number) in the driver on the users PC.
printing preferences - basic - authentication/account track - account track password and verify it.

Another thing. You have to make sure you use the correct manufacturer driver. So for example if I install Develop's driver on a Konica machine it wont work but then if I use Konica's driver on Konica's machine it works. Probably not your issue but just wanted to mention it.

Thanks for all the replies. I went to the customer today and installed the UPD for the C250i and was able to print with the account track turned on
