For what machine? The 258 & C258 are different firmware.

I was told on this forum that the ineo 258 and Konica c258 was the same

Ineo 258 is mono. Ineo+ is a colour same as C258.

I'm not familiar with Ineo 258 so if it's a color model F/W should be the same. I've never seen a mono Kon/Min use same F/W as color.
